Our Last Day
Our last day in California was bittersweet. We got to spend another day with our friends, and see more sites, but we were sad that our vacation was almost over. Elizabeth played tour guide again, and after we checked out of our hotel and stored all of our luggage at Elizabeth's apartment, we headed out again!
First, we visited Stinson Beach, and got to frolic in the Pacific Ocean for a while. It was beautiful, but the water was cold! In jeans and a sweater, I was a bit chilly, so I don't know how some people were there in bathing suits! We then headed back up the Pacific Coast Highway to Muir Woods to see some Giant Sequoias and Redwoods. It was unbelievable there, and we had a great time. We then headed back to San Anselmo. Sarah recommended Yet Wah, a Chinese restaurant in San Rafael, so we headed there for some lunch/dinner. It was delicious! Then it was time to say goodbye to Natalie and Kara. We spent the rest of the evening hanging out with Elizabeth until it was time for her to drive us to SFO for our flight. Whew! What a trip!
